Those will help with depression as well as with anger as well as with fear as well as anxiety. So we have to take into account a whole bundle.

The child is not only depressed and nothing else. they're going to have this mix of very difficult and painful feelings and these practices are designed to help with all of those.

Now, if you have children who are very tired and low in energy and tending on the depressive side, what we want to do is activate and stimulate their nervous system and that's where practices like the Ha breath can do that and especially tapping, and you'll see the tapping exercises are very invigorating and you're literally stimulating and waking up the nervous system by tapping all different parts of the body. So that's a great technique to bring up the energy level in the classroom.

Shaking is another way that can be activating and breaking up of patterns that they have been stuck in for a long time and that's another simple technique. You can do shaking gently, or you can do it more vigorously and literally have them jumping up and down some of the times and you'll see the energy level go up in the class as they bounce up and down.
